Calcium Imaging
Depending on the fluorescent dye used Digital Pixel can advise on the best combination of camera and illumination systems required for calcium flux imaging. For dual emission dyes we would recommend either beam splitter systems which image two fluorescent channels onto two halves of a CCD sensor. We also support dual camera readout which provides a larger field of view. Where dual excitation is required we support a wide range of illumination changers. This application area is ideally suited to the NEW ORCA Flash 2.8 camera. This camera can acquire data at frame rates between 45fps and 1000fps.
