XYZ Stages These allow the scientist to multiplex their experiments by moving a sample underneath the optical configuration of a microscope. In this way many separate experiments can be carried out under computer control over a given time period. There are a number of stage types available, each with differing accuracies, resolutions and scanning ranges. Digital Pixel can advise on the best stage for your application. Illumination Control Illumination control on any microscope can also be automated. Fluorescence can be controlled using a filter wheel or LED control, and bright field illumination can be controlled using either a shutteror again LED illumination. Some systems allow the user to control theintensity fluorescence in conjunction with wavelength control.
