We boast the most reliable software available to-day for large dataset time lapse experiments.
Acclaimed by the scientific community, our systems regularly acquire 200 data sets (different positions) with
15 minute time resolution over 7-10 days!
Powerful intuative software, stable environmental chambers, and expertise in getting the very best out of these
systems for demanding is a powerful combination.
Applications run from the study of Chick Embryo Development, Cancer Cell Inhibitor Studies, through to ES and Neurological Stem Cell Differentiation Studies
Live Cell 2 now allows users to acquire over 4 wavelength channels in x and y, with z scanning as well.
As before data is stored in a single DataDoc. This single file storage facility simplifies and aids viewing of the data.
A number of different modes including best focus, max.projection and moving through z positions is achieved easily
and interactively. Powerful editing facilities allows the user to get to the date that matters in seconds.
Digital Pixel have developed and manufacture a range of environmental chambers for live cell imaging applications.
These systems are typically used in motorised multiple site configurations, and form part of our industry leading multiple
site imaging systems. The chamber covers the main body of the microscope, and the motorised XY stage.
A CO2 flow system complete with humidifier completes the system.
Using our technology customers have been able to acquire data sets over
extended time periods over and above 7 days. Typical applications include
Stem Cell lineage and differentiation studies, Cancer studies and developmental biology.
About half of the systems that we supply are fitted onto existing microscopes as upgrades.
We are able to integrate a wide range of cameras and microscope automation into our systems.

A powerful new tool in Live Cell Imaging is based on Camera Based Confocal Imaging .
This combines confocal imaging at high speed -without the damage to samples normally associated with Laser Scanning Confocal Systems.
Furthermore the high speed EM-CCD cameras and high speed dual camera readout are now available as options for more demanding imaging applications.
