Group research relates to the derivation of gametes
and trophoblast stem cells from embryonic stem cells.
There is also a long term interest in the development and function
of mammalian gametes and pre-implantation embryos.

The microscope system is used for multiple site time lapse studies.
The XYZ stage allows typically 200 different cell positions to be monitored.

The examples shown here are recorded using phase contrast and fluorescence
microscopy over a 6 day period. This data set is one of 150 movies recorded.

The software allows a single click switch between viewing the overlay phase data
with GFP expression, and the GFP expression on its own.
